9am | See Larry or Torin | Directions from Bakersfield Take HWY 14 East to the Garlic Rd. on the right to HWY 395 Left on 395 and go 1.9 miles to the road labeled RM-15 and turn right on RM-15 There is a large dry lake bed where you can park and stay in your RV's. This is an over niter if you want. We will be meeting at this spot at 9am and go to the claim as a group. If you show up late make sure you stay on RM-15 so you don't get lost. This is a dry site so there is no water there for camping or prospecting, so bring water if you need it. This is a Metal detecting, dry washing and recirculating equipment area. |
| MAY 18th | CLC CLAIM | 8:30 am | See Larry or Torin | The CLC Claim is across from the Gold Buddys 2. Take the Keysville Rd, then turn left on the Pearl Harbor Dr. There is a sign on left indicating the road. Go about three quarters of a mile to the claim. This is a dry camp so there is no WATER!!! ALSO THERE IS NO WORKING THE HISTORIC AREAS OF THIS CLAIM. This is a GPAA claim so all of GPAA rules apply. |
